Tie One On
For Safety

A Campaign that saves lives by
changing the meaning of
"TIE ONE ON"
Tie One On for safety has grown
to be one of MADD's most popular and identifiable public
awareness campaigns.
The program provides an
opportunity for the public to be active partners in the
fight against drunk driving by demonstrating their pledge to
drive sober while reminding others to do the same.
Contact MADD-NH for any
information or to obtain your very own red ribbon.

The new Fatal Vision Goggles
Specially updated for the MADD-Innocorp marketing alliance
use technology to cause a loss in equilibrium and simulate
other effects of alcohol impairment. Innocorp, Ltd.
and MADD will market the eyewear to law enforcement, schools
and advocacy groups as an education tool.
"We are always looking for creative ways to educate
people on alcohol impairment and illustrate ways it can
ultimately affect our ability to drive," said Wendy
Hamilton, MADD national president. "We hope those
who try out the MADD Fatal Vision Goggles will remember
their experience before getting behind the wheel after
consuming alcohol or drinking under the legal drinking age
of 21."
First introduced in 1996, Fatal
Vision has become a
well-known tool in alcohol prevention education.
"The product is now used in all 50 states and more than
21 countries to help teach people of all ages the
potentially fatal consequences of drunk driving and underage
drinking in a dramatic way," said Michael Aguilar,
Innocorp President.
Fatal Vision is available in impairment simulation at
low, moderate and high blood alcohol impairment levels.
The goggles are also available in clear frames to simulate
impairment in daylight and dark shaded frames to simulate
impairment at night.
MADD NH will be there to sponsor their annual membership
drive and Red Ribbon program.
Also many schools will be
receiving presentations. If any
